The Park, Saturday Afternoon.

Mina Harker had settled some matters with her true employers via some recent correspondence. This left her in a rather pleasant mood as she strolled through the park, grateful to breathe in some of the fresh air.

It helped her feel alive, in a way. Helped her feel humanShe enjoyed her stroll quite a lot, but she would enjoy any company even more ( Read more... )

Minsc had finally gotten a better hold on his hamster. "Now, Boo," he reprimanded the squirming rodent. "If you want to hunt, then we shall wait till we get to the preserve, where worthier game awaits! Leave the squirrels alone. You can't trust squirrels."

With a little bit of effort, he managed to tuck Boo safely into one of his pouched, though a few squeaks made its way out until Boo found the little hunk of bread that was inside of it. Happily nibbling, he seemed to have forgotten all about having his liberation taken away from him, and Minsc could go about his way again.

"Hullo, Lady Wilhelmina!" he offered a wave when he spotted the woman shortly afterward.

"It is a pleasure to see you, sir," Mina greeted with a smile. "I hope you are well?"

She thought about asking of Boo's hunting habits, but the concept seemed so ridiculous as to not merit a discussion.

Minsc couldn't help wondering these days if Lady Wilhelmina really meant it when she said something like that, or if she was just being polite. Still, the idle thought didn't seem to dampen his good cheer this afternoon. "Quite well!" he said. "A bit dreading having to write up examinations, but I suspect the younglings dread it more! And, if they do not, then I am not doing my job! And how are you this afternoon, my lady?"

"Quite refreshed, on the whole," Mina said. "Are you to be teaching in the summer as well, once you have finished your examinations?"

*Zoom!*

"Hi Mrs. Harker!" Robin waved, as he zoomed by on his skateboard. He went up on an old Troll Statue and came back down.

Mina paused.

"...such mode of transportation seems dangerous," she remarked.

"It can be." he admitted. That was why he was wearing a wee-tiny helmet and pads. "It takes practice. Also Muppets can take more punishment than non-Muppets."

"I did not mean simply dangerous you you," Mina said, still a little stern.
