Tyler was bored after class, and decided bothering Lindsay at work would be an excellent use of his time.

"Hey," he said. "We're kind of ships in the night lately. How you doing?"

"All right I guess," Lindsay said leaning back in her chair. "I missed the 'fun' of the zombies. Then the whole kid thing hit and threw me for a loop. How've you been?"

"I got to be a zombie," Tyler said, shuddering. "Then I was a teenage detective. Then I had a kid. I'm trying to get some equilibrium, here."
