Things Reborn, Sunday
Having listened to radio last night, Ben was prepared with an Unexpected Child Invasion Protocol. He had worked out this plan after the last time people turned into children. Breakable things were moved off of lower shelves, a layer of long-lasting webbing was used like a layer of glue to adhere all of the displays to the ground so nothing could get knocked over, games and toys were moved to the front of the store with plenty of room to play in case the kids went nuts, and, most of all, he kept his backpack with Spidey gear locked up in the back. He didn't need a curious kid finding that and webbing themselves to something.
And just in case anything got out of control, Ben was ready with nine magic words: "There's a pet shop next door. They have puppies." And if that didn't work, he could list pretty much any animal he could think of aside from monkeys.
