So far disaster hadn't struck and it seems that the StuCo wasn't tempting fate with the choice of decor. Good thing. It would suck to have an invasion before everyone got lucky on Valentine's Day.

There was still plenty of food to eat, dances to be had and, hey, it looked like someone spiked the punch.

Sookie was still around, though she was keeping warily away from the punch. (She didn't have to be telepathic to know it'd been tampered with.)

It had been a little while since Jaina had seen Sookie, and not knowing how she tended to handle this sort of crowd, she thought she'd check up. "Having fun?" she asked, wandering over.

"Yeah, there'll always be someone weirder." She was probably related to them. "Or when you start to feel strange, someone else is likely to get bitten by a gremlin and it makes it better again."

Jaina didn't tend to feel strange pretty much ever, but she did deal with new kids a lot just at work.
