The 'Unexplored' Territory and Preserve; Thursday Morning.

Swinging by the school had convinced Mohinder that the island wasn't playing a joke on him. Not alone anyway. He'd just began to cut through the preserve on his way back when he heard rusting - and maybe voices?

Aware he was shorter in this body Mohinder stood up, stretching to look around, and called, "Hello? Is anyone there?"

Well, the voice that reached Minsc's ears certainly didn't sound like an ogre, and he knew for sure that it didn't smell like an ogre, but, still, he figured that it wouldn't hurt to check. "Hallo!" Minsc called back out. "Are you an ogre?"

Mohinder glanced down reflexively, to check his body hadn't changed from the last time he'd taken inventory. Still human and female. "No," he replied, not recognising the voice he turned toward. "Completely human."

A pause. "Are you?"

"Last I had checked," Minsc replied, "yes. Although, the time before I last checked, I was male, so who knows what will happen? But I had something like this occur before! An ogre was to blame, and so I am hoping to find another ogre and bring this matter to justice!"

"Ogres change people from male to female," repeated Mohinder, recognising him. "Does that happen often? It's an unusual hobby, but I'm not sure it's a crime."

He was curious - "Has your hamster also been affected?"

"No,no, no," Minsc shook his head. "Not the ogres themselves, just the belts that they carry! And of course Boo has not been afflicted; hamsters are too small for belts."

"I haven't seen any ogres or belts, despite also being changed," said Mohinder, gesturing at himself. "If you've seen this before, how long does the effect last?"

"Of course you didn't see him," Minsc said. "He must have done it while everyone was asleep."

Minsc carefully avoided the detail about how ogres weren't exactly known for their grace and stealth.

"And it last just as long until you've made enough money to pay someone to remove the curse," he informed the lady...err, well, current lady...with a nod. "And, by that point, you're better off keeping the boobs!"

Mohinder wasn't going to ask about how that worked, instead mentally filing it under weird, magic? and 'things to think about when I'm back in my body'.

"Maybe," he said with a grin. "I'm not exactly used to them just yet."

Minsc's current breasts still seemed to be made of mostly muscle like the rest of him, but that didn't stop him from claiming, "One would think they would rather get in the way, but I'm sure that with a little practise, it should be no problemo!"

Mohinder took a practice spin, his hair flying in all directions, the rest of him settling as he stopped.

"I think it's largely wardrobe related," Mohinder mused. Then, because he wasn't sure how recognisable he was, "Do I look much like myself?"

"I don't know," Minsc said, truthfully enough. "What is it that yourself usually looks that?"

That, in and of itself, was probably a sufficient answer.

"Taller." Though not by much. "Shorter hair, less," a wavy hand gesture, "female."

"Mohinder Suresh," he reintroduced himself.

"Oh! Sir Mohinder! Or I suppose I should say Lady Mohinder." Minsc chuckled, the laugh still deep, although noticeable not as much. One had to find humour in such things, after all. "I did not recognize you at first, but now I do believe I see it!"
