Policemen's Ball, Town Hall - Saturday Evening

The town hall was completely critters free. A group of stockmen had decided to take the task upon themselves to make the building bug free so all attendants could enjoy themselves without having to worry. Roy for a moment had debated calling off the event, but when no serious incident had come to him he decided to let it go through after all

Just like the last ball, G'Kar was there solo. Perhaps he would see someone he knew. Or possibly meet a few new people.

After making sure everything was properly set up, Roy returned to his apartment to get changed into his dress uniform and to go pick up his date. These events were about making a grand entrance and there was nothing like a pretty woman on one's arm to make an impression.

"What do you think, miss Aly?" he asked in a warm voice.

She glanced around, enjoying the products of the effort. "Passable," she teased. "Just about what I'd expect from a General."

Eat & drink & mingle

The food on the tables is highly moddable. There's all kind of things to eat, but there's an extraordinary amount of ice cream of all flavours you can think of. And the chocolate fountain is there for a reason.

After arriving, Fraser took his "date" over to mingle and eat some. Fraser offered Robin a sip of his water but she refused and he was pretty sure she didn't want to mat her fur.

"You're a high maintenance dog," he teased.

Barney approached Fraser and his date. "Trading Dief in for a newer model?"

Oh, Fraser knew Barney would just love this.

"No," he said, deciding to tease. "This is...someone you know."

Robin glared up at Fraser.

Quiet corner

For those who like a more quiet view of the ball, there are some seats and couches in the corner of the room. Roy will frown at any wallflowers, however.

This out of the way spot gave a nice view of the room and G'Kar was using that to his advantage to watch the other guests.

He wasn't a wallflower, not exactly.

Now if G'Kar had been a woman, Roy would have considered breaking the whole wallflower thing. As he wasn't, he might just have to do with a conversation.

"Mister G'Kar," Roy greeted. "It's good to see that you joined us again."

"I'm glad to be here. It is nice to get out an mingle with more people." So why wasn't he mingling? "Thank you for putting it on. Very nice arrangement."

Where all the action is. The music is completely moddable to your own tastes, just as long as it's danceable.

Having mingled a little, Roy decided it was time to do what he was the main reason for the whole ball thing. He found Aly easily, not having really lost sight of her at all.

He moved up beside her, knowing she was well aware of his presence as he leaned in to murmur in her ear. "Will you do me the honour of granting me this next dance?"
