Donut came into work severely disappointed that he still hasn't caught a kangaroo on the mainland yet. He wanted catch one and use it's pouch as a holder for his collection of scented lotions.

Amber came in after her performance tonight and sat down at the bar. "Hey, Donut. Can I get a shot of something good that won't burn my insides? Maybe it tastes like candy?"

"...I could mash up some Skittles in a shot glass and pour vodka on it?"

Donut really was the worst bartender ever.

"Sounds great," Amber answered. She was sure it was classic somewhere.

"Skittles are my favorite. I just don't want to choke."

"I'll be sure to mash 'em up good," Donut assured her. He grabbed a shot glass and took a bag of Skittles out of one of the compartments of his suit. It was probably best not to ask how long they've been in there. "Rough day?"

"Thanks," she said, leaning forward on her arms to watch him. Amber wasn't too concerned where the Skittles came from or how old they were. She was easy like that. "Rough week... is it only Tuesday? Man. Rough week and a half. I'm been starring in Titus Andronicus. Have you seen the signs for the play around town?"

"Oh yeah, I've seen those. I didn't know you were starring in it though," he said. He finished mashing up the Skittles into a fine pulp and grabbed a decent vodka to pour into the shot glass. "I know plays can be kind of stressful."

He slid the shot over to Amber.

"Yah, it's all kinds of blood and gore and the mutilation of limbs. You ought to come see it if you can. It's pretty entertaining."

She took the shot, thought it looked pretty, and knocked it back. "Oh. Wow. Thanks, Donut. I'll have two more before I leave. Can you drink on the job?"

"I can but it's kind of complicated," Donut said as he fixed Amber another shot. Lucky for him he had a full bag of Skittles. "I have to stick a straw through my helmet and everything."

"Yah, I guess that's difficult, uh? Accidentally ever get your nose?" she asked, peering at him as though she could see what was past his helmet. She couldn't, but she was curious.

"This one time I had a really long straw and poked myself in the eye. That sucked," Donut said. He finished making the shot and slid it over to Amber. "Be careful with the drinking. You'll get drunk and have a sugar high."

Amber cringed. "Dang. You must have had to wedge that sucker in there good to reach your eye," she nodded, and took the shot glass in hand. "Don't worry. I'm just going home after this. I'm celebrating. Faith once fixed me a drink that was all fiery. You know how to do that?"

"Beats me," she shrugged. "Can't remember what she made me. I just know that I had a few before then. Not that I drink much. I don't. I like these Skittles drinks though. You should run a special on these; bet people would flock to Caritas."

Amber tapped the counter, drank her shot, pretended to think. "Taste the Rainbow?" Yeah, she stole it from the commercial, so?
