Cat had brought two dead mice back to the church. Gabriel assumed that meant he was forgiven for leaving. He still found the whole thing amusing.
He had also bought himself a box of donuts and made a large cup of coffee. Seriously, this place wasn't too bad when you had the option of leaving.
