It was practically the crack of dawn when Cable made his way into the park, psimitar a steady presence of humming energy in his hands. He was wary, careful, but above all things, curious; and he studied his surroundings intently, searching for what the radio had mentioned as being the source of recent troubles.

Cable wouldn't have to look far. There were statues dotting the park, just minding their own business, doing nothing to harm anyone.

They were just misunderstood.

Had he shared a particular skillset with a friend of his, Cable would've replied that that was debatable.

As it was, he approached one of the statues carefully, studying it. He kept his distance for the time being, coming to a stop several feet away, running little mental calculations. His grip on the weapon tightened almost imperceptibly, just-in-case.
