Simba had woken on Saturday in a strange place. He'd hightailed it out of there as soon as he was able and had spent the last day in the Preserve or, as he thought of it, a strange jungle, trying to find his way back to the Pride Lands

Sora wasn't looking for Axel, nope. Because that would be like looking for trouble and that just wasn't something Sora did. Even if Roxas had ripped him a new one in his dreams last night...

Yeah, Sora was looking kinda tired.

The brunette paused though at the familiar sight of the lion on the rocks and grinned. "SIMBA!"

Simba had never been more happy to hear a familiar voice. He spun around. "Sora!" Something dawned on him. "So there are others of your kind when you're like this," he realized. "I thought they all had spiky manes and baggy skin."

Sora smirked and rolls his eyes slightly. "Yeah, we're all different," he laughed. "Not all lions are exactly the same! Right?"

"Riiiight." Simba laughed. "I can't believe I didn't realize it before. What are you doing here, Sora? Did you summon me?"

"'Fraid not," he smirked slightly and shook his head. "I'm here for school. King Mickey sent me here, but it's been a really wierd weekend a lot of people have been showing up randomly."

"Hmm. I wonder if Timon and Pumbaa are around. Wherever there's weird, those two usually aren't far behind. Although I wouldn't put it past Rafiki to have sent me here. He's getting on my back again about being a good king."

"Again?" Sora shook his head. "Man, I think you're a great king, Simba! Rafiki needs to relax a bit!"

"Tell me about it! The Pride Lands are doing fine. The pride is doing fine. The Heartless are gone. Rafiki gets his rattle in a twist for nothing sometimes. Still, this seems a little extreme. Normally he hits me on the head and says some stuff I can't understand."

"Like the antiseptic banana mash?" Sora laughed. "But yeah, he doesn't uaually go any more extreme than that.... who knows."

"Ugh, don't even remind me of the banana mash. I still shudder every time I think of that taste. Oh well. Hakuna matata. I'll find a way back somehow. What about you? You said King Mickey sent you here? Whatever happened after you left anyway?"

"Found Riku and Kairi and then we stopped the Organization and saved the world," Sora shrugged. "You know, no big or anything. How about you? Things going good for everyone. Timon and Pumba staying out of trouble?"

"That's great, Sora! I knew you could do it. I'm glad it all worked out in the end and that you found your friends. As for Timon and Pumbaa? Well, you know them. They never stay far from trouble, but there haven't been any catastrophes lately. Things are quiet at home. Really, really, boring- I mean quiet."

Sora laughed. "Don't say boring!" he warned. "Because you know that you'll get something you don't want!"

"I know! I shouldn't have said that. But I guess this isn't boring? Maybe this is the payback for whining about it."

"Maybe," Sora smiled. "Have you gotten anything to eat? I can see about buying you a steak at the store or something."

"Not since yesterday. Then the animals in the jungle attacked me. I don't think they understand the food chain very well. Food would be great!"
