"It'll work," Willow said as she kept her eye out for the folks returning from the preserve. "I know a very special guy who is convinced that tea fixes everything. Actually I know two but only one gets smooching priveledges."

"I don't know what those are," Karal said absently as he waited for the kettle to boil. He was very still and very calm and he wasn't going to let go of it for anything. "But he sounds very wise."

He nodded, wanting to ask about the boat but taking Karal's decision. "I told Constable Fraser about our possibility. He said we'd find test subjects when we were ready."

"That's good. Brewing the leaves together into a tea makes sense, but that doesn't mean it is right. If it doesn't help, we'll try the roots, next."

Chris and company appeared in the kitchen in a swirl of bright white lights.

Unfortunately, the strain of orbing that many people twice finally did Chris in and he stumbled for a minute, dropping his armful of herbs onto a nearby counter before collapsing on to the floor.

"Chris!" Rikku dropped to her knees, reaching for his shoulder and wishing her own head wasn't swimming. "Someone! Help!"

Luke dropped his own pile of herbs and knelt down. "Got it," he said with what he hoped was a reassuring smile. He closed his eyes and concentrated, lifting Chris off the floor using the Force.

"See you in a few minutes," he said, heading for the clinic.

Karal pounced on the plants that Chris had dropped on the counter, pulling them over to the sink. "You got a large number," he said, already sorting through them, setting them into two piles. "That's good, that's wonderful, in fact."
