Angel had been reluctant to dance becamse OMG leave Logan in Neptune. But he did want to see his friends as well. So he'd compromised by skipping the first night of Homecoming and showing up for the second.

Aeryn didn't think she'd ever been this social, but it was Angel, so she had to show. "No Sean?" she asked when she saw him at the table.

"Back in LA," Angel said. "We were in Neptune."

"And you couldn't make a side trip?" she asked, but she was smiling a little.

"Almost didn't make it here," Angel said. He figured Aeryn could figure out the dance-avoiding parts on her own.

"Glad you did," she said. "How is everything?"

"Logan's under house arrest, I hate Neptune, and I heard a rumor Jaye did radio last night," Angel replied.

"I escaped being called Princess Folder Helmet," Aeryn nodded. "Anything good at all?"

"Far as I know Parker hasn't told everyone what happened during her visit?" Angel said. He considered that a plus.

"I haven't seen her around, so I think you're safe for the time being," she assured him. "There's only so much damage to be done in a day."

"It's Parker," Angel said. "I never underestimate what she can do in a day."

"It's also Fandom. She could go mute."

Well now Angel looked darn near wistful.

Aeryn smiled. "How's business?"

"Good," Angel said. "Jaye and Logan haven't blown the place up. How's domestic life?"

"Work is absolutely stupid, but John's doing pretty well at school. It's very normal," she said, frowning a little.

"What're you doing?" Angel asked. "Security guard?"
