Over the course of the evening, Fandom's population increased significantly. The prehistoric creatures that had first arrived last night were no longer alone. The newcomers inquisitively investigated their new surroundings ( Read more... )

This particular Dimetrodon was sluggish and overweight, but that didn't stop it from being vicious and quite able to defend itself.

Teddy had yet to see a dinosaur and just had to go find one. Call it nostalgia for childhood memories of little plastic creatures.

Granted, these ones could get him squashed which wasn't the nicest thing, but he couldn't help wanted to check it out. Dude, dinosaurs!

The dimetrodon had been increasingly bored in a place as dull as the Rocky Bits. So, seeing someone finally approach made his dinosaur heart swell.

He moved slowly towards Teddy, making no sudden movements just yet. He just had to get closer...

Teddy was completely oblivious, as superheroes or fanboys are wont to be in situations that aren't violent yet. He'd totally notice after getting attacked though. His senses were finely honed.

A family of three triceratopses (triceratopsi?) had gathered in the Park. They had big horns, loved to charge and really aren't happy to be here. The Plesiosaurus might also make an appearance if it feels like it.

Andros had gone out for a morning run in the park and at first he didn't notice anything unusual as he ran.

If he had eyes, he might notice the three enormous triceratops grazing unhappily in the park, their horns gleaming in the morning sun.

Andros slowed down and then stopped when he noticed the three triceratops. At first he did nothing but stare at them.

If you go down to the woods today you're in for a big surprise. Actually, that applies even if you just step outside the dorms or remnants of the school building.

The saber-toothed cats were out looking for prey. It was not a good day to be made of meat.

Sabriel was humming her randomly-appearing-music song as she stepped outside, intending to head down to J,GOB for breakfast. "Where you gonna run to?" she sang quietly, walking down the steps.

If the girl was paying attention, she might notice a saber-toothed cat was resting its eyes in the sunshine. What she wouldn't know was that the kitty was awake and just waiting for something interesting to walk by.

Sabriel did look up and around after a moment. She blinked at the very big kitty. "Um, are you a student?" she asked, stepping a little closer. She knew about the students-turning-into-random-animals thing.

Lucky for you, a diplodocus isn't a carnivore. It is, however, pissed off and able to crush you with a single stomp. Might want to watch the footwork.

Wearing her headdress and completely unaware of the recent going ons Irulan decided today was the best day for a walk along the cove. It was going to be a quite sort, filled with reflection and meditation.

She really should have been listening to the radio more.

The diplodocus was not very happy eating in the cove. So, when he saw the bird atop the girl's head, he started roaring.

Irulan stopped in her tracks and covered her ears at the roar then stared at, what could unmistakably be a dinosaur. Movement had caused the butterfly wings on her hat to flap about.

The stegosaurus wasn't alone anymore and both were enraged. They weren't sure why they were enraged, but they were pretty sure it had something to do with the mammals. Not good for humans.

John went out for a walk, taking a large sturdy tree branch as a walking stick. He'd left the guns in the hotel room. Silly John. He decided to rescuse the Headdress Princess explore the old Efferton area, see if it was still haunted.

To a certain perspective, it might seem haunted. Haunted by big angry dinosaurs. One of the stegosauruses, yesterday so placid and merely hungry, spotted John, remembered that it was enraged and responded accordingly, lashing out its tail toward the mammal thing.

"What the---" The explitative was omitted as John ducked the Thagomizer (named for the late Thag Simmons) and rolled to the side.
