Rizelle felt she had spent enough time being precautious and scoping the town out. This will do. This will do just fine. She just had to find a handful of potential victims to help her with her plan, and that insipid little girl would be hers once and for all. She'd deliver to Master Aion; he'd remember the gesture, and maybe Master Joshua ( Read more... )

Still kind of wired after the concert, Bridge is walking around in an attempt to burn off the excess energy.

A thread whipped out from Rizelle's hand, landing her spider in the boy's hair, which explained why it took this spider a little longer to get to the right spot on the nape of the neck to start digging its psychic little feelers into him; Rizelle spared no time in ordering him to stop so she could check out another prospect. The more, the better...

For the briefest of moments, Bridge's *own* psychic senses flare to life and attempt to let him know that something weird's going on. It's too late though. He stops in his tracks.

Well, that was certainly...interesting. There was a strange feel to this one, which had Rizelle intrigued, and she pulled a little on the thread attached to Bridge, coaxing him with her control to take a few steps back into some better light.

Bridge obligingly moves back until he's standing closer to a streetlight.

Rizelle's head tilted as she got a better look at him in the light. And then gently suggested to him that he hop on one foot, after which she briefly wondered if she just had a thing with young human males hopping on one foot.

Bridge lifts up his left leg and hops around in place. It just seems like the thing to do.

And now Rizelle sent out the suggestion that he try that with no legs, now. Which she realized was impossible and would probably lead to the boy falling onto the street, but the point was to see how well he could be controlled, right? That included doing stupid shit.

And in mid-hop, Bridge brings up his other leg, which means that approximately half a second later, when gravity did its thing and brought him back down? He literally didn't have a leg to stand on, and hit the pavement with a smack.

Oh, humans. So much fun to play with! Certainly satisfied and almost even getting a good laugh out of it, Rizelle suggested to her puppet that he stand, brush himself off, and she will perhaps play with him again sometime soon. But you shall remember none of this, she told him, and then plucked the spider away from his neck and started bringing it back to her.

Bridge stands up, brushing the dirt and grit from his uniform and gloves before heading back to Xander's apartment.
