The Perk, Thursday morning

Ordering coffee was certainly easy enough, Isabel went with her usual mocha, although this time with an extra shot of espresso and some extra whipped cream. It had been a long night. She needed it. But deciding what to eat was harder. Should she get a fruit salad and some yogurt or say the hell with it and get the gooey raspberry and cream

"That's a silly question to ask someone like me," he said and smirked at her.

"You're right," Isabel laughed. "Okay, not so healthy it is. I'll just have to hit the gym this afternoon." She watched as the barista got the croissant, grinning when she realized he'd picked out the most overstuffed one.

"What about you? Danish? Doughnut? Bagel?"

"Doughnuts," he said. "Two. I feel the extra need for sugar today."

"In that case I think you need those," she said, pointing at the frosted with sprinkles doughnuts. "The sprinkles add an extra kick."
