Magic Box, Monday

Giles had spent a peaceful weekend puttering around his apartment and expected an equally peaceful week working in the Magic Box.

(Yeah, he wasn't used to Fandom yet.)

The Magic Box was open.

Jenna had been busy Watching everything yesterday and carefully writing everything down in her notebook, and had ended up falling asleep in the park. But now she was really, really hungry so she had to find Daddy or Mommy. And there was the Magic Box!

She pushed open the door happily. "Daddy? Mommy? Are you here?"

Giles looked up at the very young voice. "Hello," he said. "Are you lost?"

"Not anymore!" Jenna smiled, then she pouted a little. "Daddy, I'm hungry. Can I have donuts for breakfast?"

Giles blinked. "I'm sorry, what did you just say?"

Willow came in with Ian in tow. She motioned Ian over to another side of the store. "Go over there, sweetie. That's where Giles keeps the crystal balls."

Willow then marched up to Giles. "You can't tell a girl you had sex? With her I might add??"

Giles gaped at Willow for a minute before things clicked. Or so he thought. "So she's yours," he said.

"We are leaving the Seely situation right out of this!" Willow replied. "I'm just saying that a girl has a right to know who she's been naked with."

Giles was feeling more adrift. "What does Seely have to do with this?"

Perfectly came into the Magic Box in her all-black dress and boots, fiddling with her pigtails a little. She tried to find a quiet corner to sit in.

Looking up and seeing yet another child in his shop, Giles asked, "Can I help you, young lady?" Hoping that there wasn't going to be yet a third instance of someone calling him "Daddy."

Perfectly shrugged. "I can't buy anything," she said.

Well that didn't seem the prelude to declaring herself to be his progeny at least. "Are you lost?"
