After running with Peter, and stopping by to see Jack, Parker headed into town for coffee and to pick up coffee beans. Just in case Jake needed therapy or a security blanket after being kidnapped.

Enjoying the morning (despite the pollen), Isabel took a walk to town to get coffee before class.

"Morning Parker. Going somewhere interesting?"

"Isabel, hi! And I'm not sure. You heard the Radio?" Parker asked, juggling the coffee bean bag and her mocha. "Could you grab this for a second?"

"Yup," she nodded, taking the bag. "It mentioned Europe. Got room in the suitcase for me?"

Parker smiled wryly. "I wish. It's not a pleasure trip. Keep the details to yourself? But Jake has gone missing in Amsterdam."

"Won't say a word," Isabel promised. "So you're part of the rescue party?"

"Yes. Krycek asked me, Alanna and Kawalsky to go along with him. I think D'Anna's going too. Rory and Mac are doing computer research from here, trying to track him down." Parker sat down, and pinged the bag of coffee beans with her fingernail. "Thus, coffee as consolation when we get him back from wherever."

"Sounds like a competent team," she said, ordering her own mocha. "How long do you think you'll be gone?"

"Hopefully just the weekend? But it might be longer. I'll call on Sunday, if it is. Europe's a big place, even if you can take a Eurorail everywhere, practically." She took a sip of her coffee. "I may call anyway, if we get stuck trying to follow up on leads. Jake's dad thinks it's an inside job, so it may be tricky."

"Definitely call," Isabel replied. "Just so we don't worry. And who knows, maybe we can help."

"You never know. We have no idea who has him, so maybe you can." She smiled a little, and asked, "Found a prom dress yet?"

"Yes actually," she grinned. "I've got a gorgeous dress that I intended to wear for Homecoming. Then everything went tulle. So I think I'll wear that."

Parker grinned. "At least that's one detail you don't have to worry about. I remember Liz and I tearing out our hair last year, because all the tables were delayed and we didn't know how we'd get everything set up, and Krycek and Jake made out against the volcano backdrop. But it all came together, finally."

"Forget tables, I'm trying to find authentic gondolas. Do you know how difficult that is to do here?" Isabel asked, just a trace of panic showing.

Parker bit her lip, looking amused. "I can just guess. Are we taking them out on the pond, I assume? Maybe Jarod would know where to find some. He tracked down all the water equipment for his class last summer."

"It's not quite the canals, but it's as close as we can get for the time being," Isabel shrugged. "I thought it would be fun. As long as no one falls in."
