The dance marathon was still going strong. Entering hour sixteen, all five pairs of contestants were still on the dance floor.

Parker's starting to think this isn't as easy as she thought it would be. "Okay. If we lose, bathtub, rub, dinner, *and* possibly I buy you a lot of chocolate for doing this in the first place."

Jarod groaned. "I'm sleeping the rest of the weekend once this is over with, Parker. And this may be the first experience I could have done without."

"Mmmmph. Okay. Possibly. Yes." Parker put her head down on his shoulder, and yawned. "Sleep sounds goooood. I'm crashing at your place. People might find me and wake me up at mine."

He chuckled and rested his cheek on the top of her head. "And we can't have that."

"Unh-uh. Nope. No finding me," Parker mumbled, one arm curling around his neck. "Gotta sleep 'til five. Can't find me before then."

"Only until five?" He murmured. "What happens then?"

Which reminded him that he had an appointment after five the next day. He'd better set an alarm.

"Leave for book-signing. In Arlington. Zero and me and people." She yawned against his shoulder. "Pirate ninja writer. Hammock sex one."

"Storms of Silver." She turned her head, and attempted more coherency. "Ninja pirate attempts to steal from exiled lord-guy, he falls for her, she washes up on his beach later. There's a bear and other pirates, too." She grinned. "Polar bear. Angelica's nuts."

"Uh-hunh. Sapphy's pet." Parker nodded, then pulled back a little, feeling dazed and slow. "And there's beach sex. Which is at least physically probable. If uncomfortable."
