It's because they always go through Character Development when in their animal forms. >_> Their original human forms remind you of how they were at the beginning of the movie. It's hard to feel like "they" have changed when all you see is animal-them go on that journey.

Huh. This actually makes a lot of sense.

Agreed.

Except for Naveen, because... no.

Huh, maybe it's because they spend most of the movie in their animal forms and you get attached to those?

That's what I think too. I prefer Tiana's human form but I kinda prefer Naveen's frog form, and I think that because it was that time that I became attached to him? While with Tiana, I got attached to her before she became a frog.

What trend? The only one I can see is that they're dudes but that's because Tiana is the only Disney female character I could think of that went through an animal transformation (Ariel doesn't count, she just exchanged her tail for legs; I mean full out animal transformation)

Same here. Especially Beast. I seriously wish he hadn't returned to his human form.

(also: not Disney, but I felt the same way about Odette from The Swan Princess).

I was just about to say this. I've never liked the Beast's human form.

I've never watched Brother Bear, but my God, that Bear in his human form is adorable.

/thanks OP

Just wanted to say you should give Brother Bear a chance if you have the option. I thinks it's severely under-rated. The classic Disney sidekicks are really annoying (moose brothers) but they actually don't have a ton of appearances (not like Timon and Pumbaa, or Sebastian and Flounder, or the alligator and firefly that I couldn't stand in the Princess and the Frog). I love the animation, the music, the characters, and the story.

Not that you were asking for a review... :P Sorry, but seriously give it a shot if you have even a small curiosity to watch it.
