You know I actually thought I'd grown out of my fear of them recently. Then I just happened to be replaying OOT and randomly killed one of them in the marketplace. Then I noticed for the first time that, when one dies, the others all walk straight towards the body, kneel down....and eat it. 0_0 WTF, Nintendo, seriously?
...you mean having your world 90% destroyed and think that all your friends have been dead for a year and you may have just killed your grandfather by serving him rotten fish?
Well I'm not sure about Miranda, but I KNOW there's a lot of Ashley hate. I'm... not one of her biggest fans myself, but that's a whole 'nother story I don't really want to get into.
It's more like... you can't just say that you like Miranda without some number of people chiming in about her outfit. And I think nine times out of ten when folks come out of the gate commenting on Miranda's clothes or Ashley's philosophy, whatever, they don't realize it feels/intend it to be hostile. They're just sharing an opinion. The problem is on the other end, for those of us who are fans of those characters, we have to hear the same criticism every time they're brought up and it begins to wear on the patience.
I know her catsuit is totally impractical for combat situations. I can see her ass through it, obviously that's a problem. But it's been many months now that we've had time to absorb the fact that it's there, and I'd just like to have a conversation about Ms. Lawson that doesn't devolve into a ragey "its exploitative/it's marketing" argument.
