That's the first time I've seen a 'too small' in the failbar.

I don't know what manga to get into next.

I like shit like Inuyasha, Dragon Ball Z, NANA... those are pretty much the only ones that I got really emotionally attached to.

Humour. I like humour. Some comedy and crap. I don't need the genre to just be comedy, I just don't want to read a depressing manga like Saikano or something. Even though I enjoyed Saikano, but still.

Isn't that basically standard practice, though?

don't a lot of people de-anon?

I guess it depends on the fandom, whether that's standard practice or not? In my primary fandom, a lot of authors repost their fics to their journals. It's not unusual.

People who get so offended by Family Guy are the same people who don't find the humour in Seinfeld. You have to be somewhat of an insightful person to really enjoy either show.

well

Except, you can be a total idiot to enjoy Family Guy, too. It's a pretty good show, I think. I like the way Seth MacFarlane holds a mirror to society to show it how haggard it is through his show, but there's some toilet humour in there that anyone with half a brain would giggle like a schoolgirl at.

I agree with this. I see the fandom as being split into two types:

1. The 'Clever' people, who will understand the point MacFarlane is trying to get across and the social commentary that appears in most FG episodes.

2. The not-so-clever people, who will laugh at the fat/sexist/racist/etc jokes and the gay baby being gay.

Sadly, the majority of the fandom seems to consist of the latter. :-(

Don't forget about the pseudo-intellectuals who think the show itself only consists of the latter and you're a pig if you enjoy it no matter what your name is.

They're my favourite.
