Am I the only one who feels a bit sick and nervous when their secret gets posted? So stupid... it's anonymous, I need to man up.

I usually don't read the responses to mine, either, because I'm afraid that people will think "What a stupid secret," or troll it.

Yep, actually just checked one of mine, and I got called a "dumb, attention whore who deserved everything she was going to get, so sit down, shut up and accept it." Knew there was a reason why I didn't look.

No, I get like that too. I get this weird rush of embarrassment whenever I see my secret. I scroll past it quickly, and then scroll back up to check the number. And then I start getting twitchy, wondering what the replies will be like

Yeah, me too.

No, you aren't. Though the "My secret has been posted. o.o" nerves aren't quite as bad as the, "Will my secret be posted today? At all?" nerves.

Makes sense. People post their secrets anonymously for a reason, whether it be shame, fear, embarrassment... whatever it may be. And even if no one knows you posted it, your thoughts/feelings are out there in the open, ready to be bashed/accepted/laughed at. It's nerve-wracking.

I think it depends.

With the last secret I posted (several weeks ago), every day after I submitted it I got more embarrassed about it each day, every day reading through the posts reallllly slowly, taking a deep breath before scrolling to the next one, and sighing in relief when it wasn't posted.
By the time it finally was, though, I didn't get that feeling of embarrassment I thought I'd get (I was in a car and checking FS on my phone), and the comments were actually nice.

Just that sometimes, though it takes me about a week to dredge up enough courage to read the comments, and then I can't respond to them because the conversations are "dead" by then. :/

Good god, do I ever. I just get so embarrassed and sometimes I can't even read the comments.

I've got two secrets I'm petrified to post. Silly anon is silly.

Am I the only one who isn't getting my comment responses e-mailed to me? It's like El Jay is picking and choosing which ones to send me, but not all of them...

Or maybe it's just Yahoo mail. *kicks mailbox*

It's not just you.

An anony-mouse responded to one of my comments, and I've not had the email for it yet.

Your "anony-mouse" combined with the Sokka icon made me giggle like an idiot...
