The inconsistency and recent drying-up is somewhat trying. Especially when a lot of the fic in this fandom could be fixed if people just asked for a goddamn beta. Sadly, unless there is some magical place I don't know about, the various communities on LJ and hidden personal blog/sites are the best options. Because there definitely is some good stuff around. And the odd treat that appears on the Fan-For-All.

There are a few good fics lurking around, some at fan-for-all, and some posted in the main comm, but not many--I've found that for such a large series, there's frustratingly little fic. Basically, I'm seconding this secret. It'd be absolutely wonderful to have a good active fic community.

Oh, and the occasional gem can be found at the One Piece drabble comm, but since everything there is 300 words or less, it may not be what you're looking for.

I love Luke and Lorelai, but Sookie and Jackson were so sweet and understated. Although I like to ignore the part where he lied about the vasectomy. W/e, season 7, w/e.
