Huh, really? Opposite problem here -- a couple people whom I really like got into the fandom and wrote some good fics, so I tried to get into the show, but I just didn't like it for whatever reason.

I know there are at least two really nice people in the fandom, though?

Not to deny your experience, but there are definitely a few people in the fandom who seem really sweet and nice. I hope that you'll hang in there, because it could certainly do with some more fic.

I agree. I don't stay away completely, because I try to focus on the things I do like, but a couple are just so damn prolific that they are difficult to ignore. Quantity != quality.
