I'm so with you. I mean, I've been a Trekkie for most of my life, I borrowed my screen name from an obscure Cardassian prostitute with approximately 4.5 seconds screen time, hell, I even like Enterprise. But it's always about the shows and the characters, never about the actors. Except those two. I love them both so much, it's gonna be a sad sad world when they are gone.

God, this, so much this. I was just thinking about it the other night. I'm stupidly, desperately attached to them and their beautiful friendship and when one of them dies, I don't even want to try and anticipate how sad I'll be.

Also, I'm going to feel so bad about my RPF, aren't I?

If they don't die on, like, the same day within hours of each other (think of John Adams and Thomas Jefferson! *is shot*), I will be EVEN MORE DEPRESSED because the thought of one surviving the other just...it doesn't sit well with me. :(

I'm not even a Trekkie, and IA. Something about them is so endearing and wonderful. Then again, I have a freakish obsession with celeb!BFFs. I think it's because I'm convinced I can become friends with these people as well. >____>

I've been saying for years now that losing Shatner will hurt more than ANY other celebrity I have ever loved.

And yes, BFFs to the end. I LOVE reading what WS writes about LN in his books, and their documentary "Mind Meld" was an ode to their love. :)
