The great thing about Animal Cops is the payoff. Once in a while it's too late for them to help, but most of the stories I've seen end with animals being rescued and made happy and healthy.

That's exactly how I feel. Sometimes the animals are already gone, and sometimes they're too far gone to help, but a lot of the time you get to see the animal cops actually save lives and new families being formed. That makes it all worth it.
