I grew up a little, I think. I started becoming aware of my own behavior and kind of matured out of it.

I miss it because, well, things were easier I guess? I didn't feel like I had to justify pairings that I liked (though I don't think I really *have* to) and writing stories was easier because I wasn't worrying about characterization or realistic situations or anything like that. It was a bit more fun to just DO things and not really worry about how it turns out. Though that's less being mature and more personal preference maybe?
