Not been feeling very arty for a while but have managed to do some things that are worth sharing I think.

2 x surreal/stock wallpapers
1 x surreal book cover *thing*
no hotlinking and no claiming as your own. Please ask me if you'd like to use them somewhere public.

This piece was made ages ago for my own personal use but I never shared it before.

Was playing about with layering techniques and ended up pretty happy with the result. A week later... not so much - the stars and the meteors aren't right and there's a rooftop in the foreground that should be masked out because it grabs the eye and takes attention away from the tower. Ah well... next time will be better.

Again, I was playing with new-to-me techniques and ended up with something I would be over the moon (pun intended) to use as the cover for my first Brogan Mitchell book. If, you know, I ever get off my backside and get back to writing it...

be_compromised is currently running a banner contest and I was lucky enough that two of my entries placed!
This was an alternate entry that I rejected.
this is the one I went with and placed first - it's the current banner over at the comm. :-)
This came third and will be the header in June (I think)
