Psych fic rec: gen, case!fic, humor
Title: Shawn and the Friendly Neighborhood Stalker

Summary: It's another case that no one else believes a case, and Shawn would be figuring it all out a lot quicker if didn't have to deal with a break-in and a stalker, that may or may not be related.
Gushing: I read this story before I got very far into watching the actual series, and the first thing that popped into my mind not long after starting it was, "Dude! This is like an actual episode, only, dude, like so much awesome because it's like an actual episode." Except I suspect there were more exclamation marks and dude's involved, and some flailing. I had no idea I could find a dreaded gen fic this awesome, but the glimpses of sheer genius in its humor, original characters, plot and characterization were do trademark Psych I was goner way before I reconciled myself to the fact that glimpses of actual/maybe/possibly/if-you-squint-you'll-miss-it slashiness were more than enough to keep my slasher's heart at the brink of overflowing. Not to mention that if one could have an OTOMC, Ingles Dupree would be mine.
...Which is why this story should be read by everyone. Gushing concluded.
