First Floor Lobby, All day

The posters advertising the dance were still there as well as more balloons and fresh Valentine's themed baked goods. There were tickets available for the dance as well as the sign-up sheet for the rose sale.

Isabel sat back and sipped her coffee, trying to look cheerier then she felt.

Katara was on her way outside when she noticed the balloons and the cupcakes and Isabel. (In that order sadly)

"Hi Isabel!" she said with a smile. "How are you? Why do you have so many cupcakes?"

"Hi Katara," Isabel smiled. "It's for Valentine's day. We're going all out."

"Valentine's Day?" She asked, eying the red balloons.

"Valentine's Day. It's a holiday to celebrate romance," she explained, all the while reminding herself not to get to cynical. "So we're having a dance to celebrate and people can send flowers to their friends and the people they care about."

"Greg and I will be there," she nodded. "It'll be nice to actually have a date this year."

Ami waved to Isabel, since John had set up his table kinda nearby.

Isabel had watched them set up and shook her head. "A dating service? Around here? You're ambitious."

Ami shrugged. "It was John's idea. I am just coding."

"Just be careful with that, you don't want to see anyone matched up with Fosse, the janitor troll," she laughed. "Although from a practical joke standpoint, that does have potential."

River carefully read the poster, as anything that had the word 'dance' on it caught her attention. Baked goods was always nice too.

She frowned. "Valentine's is what kind of holiday?"

"It's about romance and letting people you know you love them," Isabel explained. "How are you doing?"

"I'm better," River said, meaning 'after visiting Miranda'. She smiled a little. "How is Jack doing? And Bel is gone?" She had to visit Jack herself, making sure he was ok. And after possessing Blair she wouldn't miss any demon, but she'd miss what had been the human part of Bel.

"So I should buy a rose for Blair? And ask him to go to the dance with me?"

"Good. Jack's mostly doped up on pain pills. It's actually pretty funny," she said, remembering him acting so pitiful and woebegone so she'd help him get his shirt on. "And today's his birthday by the way so if you see him, wish him Happy Birthday." Thinking about Bel hurt, but she would deal. "I went with Phoebe, her sisters and some other people to the Underworld last night to vanquish the Source. They did it, but it meant vanquishing Bel with him."

"You should a red rose for Blair and maybe some yellow and pink ones for your other friends. And you should ask Blair. The dance will be fun."

Parker stopped by, and read the form, and cocked her head. "So, yellow for friendship, red for romance-- don't you guys have any orange ones?"

"Sadly no. Maybe if you get some white ones and some yellow and red food dye?" Isabel suggested. "How are you? All recovered from what was supposed to be a simple trip?"

"Aside from lingering nightmares, which I'll probably have for life, yes." She cocked her head at Isabel. "And how was your trip to the Underworld? Which I didn't hear about until afterwards from Bridge. And Anders."

Isabel could relate to the nightmares, she's pretty sure Bel pleading for her to stop them will feature in her dreams for a long time. "It sucked," she said flatly. "Sorry for not calling but given the shape Jack and Sam were in, I didn't think you were in any shape to be dragged along."
