Marie realized that she hadn't met any new people yet. She had seen the signs for Anders and Nadia's party, but she didn't think she was ready to be quite that sociable yet.

So she settled in to the common room with some pizza and the season one Wendy the Werewolf Stalker DVDs that she had picked up ages ago and never watched.

Just for fun, Conner decided to zip into the common room at full super-speed and drop onto a nearby couch before anyone realized he was there.

"Oooh, Wendy," he said happily. "She's hot."

"They're great," Conner assured her. "I spent New Year's in New York with Kira, and came back and found out that someone I used to know is here now. It's awesome!"
