Lobby, Christmas present time

Jake hadn't managed to hand out all his presents before the day, and had therefore settled down in the lobby with a pile of presents, Christmas cookies and, naturally, a pot of coffee. He was ready for the celebrating to begin, oh yes.

Mac immediately plonked herself on a couch once she got down to the lobby and started poking around in the plastic bag she had brought with her.

"Jake, I got something for you," she announced after a moment.

"Oooh," said Jake, and beamed at her.

A couple more seconds in the bag and she produced a small wrapped packet. "Merry Christmas," she said leaning over to hand it to Jake.

Jake accepted it, and opened it. "Heeee!" He studied the little packet. "And there is no Logan around to ruin it when it grows up! Thank you."

"Plus, greenery is supposed to be soothing," Mac said. "Or so I hear, anyway."
