[3rd Floor Common Room] Early Afternoon

Weiss didn't have classes on Thursdays and he decided to do a little baking. Or at least attempt it. He figured if he loves brownies, he should make sure he can have 'em whenever.

He's a logical dude like that. Come on in while he mixes the batter.

Cally wandered into the common room, as, well, she'd not much anything better to do today than wander about. "Helloooooo everyone," she said.

"Hellooooo Cally," Weiss said. "I am makin' with the brownie batter. If you stick around, you might get a delicious brownie."

[sogothcally]

"Well then, I'd better stick around," Cally said. "Is there a reason for the making with the brownie batter, or was it just a whim?"

[weissguy_]

"I'm a big food geek. You might have noticed." Weiss thumped his paunch. "And I figured that I should probably try making some of the food I like. So, brownies."

[sogothcally]

"Be careful about how much sugar you put in," Cally said. "Believe me, there is such a thing as too much. I learned that the hard way this summer."

[weissguy_]

"Got it covered. I've got Grandma Weiss's secret recipe memorized," Weiss said.

[sogothcally]

"Oooh, secret recipe," Cally said. "We'll see how it ranks against the high Halliwell standard."

[weissguy_]

"I come from a long line of magicians and charlatans," Weiss said. "We own at brownies."

[sogothcally]

"We'll have to see," Cally said. "The Halliwells are kind of a line of witches and... hot brunettes."

[weissguy_]

"I'm a hot brunette," Weiss said. "Well, it's more black, but still. Hot." He posed in a sexy-with-brownie-batter way.

Cally grinned. "Oh yes, definitely," she said. "The hottest brownie baker in the land."

[weissguy_]

"A-thank you. I hope your girlfriend doesn't mind that I'm hot in your vicinity," Weiss said with a sly yet goofy grin.

Cally grinned. "I think we'll both manage," she said. "So, other than brownies, what's new in the wide world of Weiss?"

[weissguy_]

"Not much," Weiss said. "Missed the troll badness, but that might be a plus. Other than that... you have me at brownies."

[sogothcally]

"Hey, I wouldn't so much call it missing," Cally said. "As someone who ended up with second degree burns from the first big invasion, and severe snow related trauma from the second, I whole-heartedly support missing the badness."

"What, you guys get hit by eskimos or something?" Weiss asked.
