Outside the Danger Room, 7th period

Holding a large stick with a piece of poster board attached wasn't the easiest thing to do with one hand. Which meant that Blair's big protest sign today spent a lot of time leaning on the walk next to him when his arm got too achy.

He felt bad though and intermittently would call out the sign's message loudly. "Give Peace a Chance!"

Sam did his best not to facepalm again when he saw Blair and his sign. "Thank you for changing the message to something less...offensive," he said.

"Yeah, man." Blair stood and leaned the sign against the wall. "I'm sorry about last week's sign being so rude. I should have thought about that more and not accused you guys."

He held out his non-casted hand to shake. "Are we good, man?"

"Yeah, we're good," he said, shaking Blair's hand. "Trust me, you're not the first person to piss my dad off, and you certainly won't be the last."

"Cool, man." Blair bounced. "Yeah, I went over the line last time with him so I wrote him a letter. Hopefully that will make him less pissed."

[psychic_wonder]

"That should definitely help," Sam replied. "He's not totally unreasonable, unless he's dealing with me or Dean."

"I'm banking on it, man." Blair nodded seriously.

[psychic_wonder]

"If he still gets really angry, you can just tell him I said it was okay. Then at least he won't be mad at you," Sam offered.

"Seriously?" Blair blinked. "Won't he just get mad at you then?"

[psychic_wonder]

Not if I warn him, he thought, before shrugging. "Maybe. But him getting mad at me is a normal occurance, and it's not like he can stay mad forever."

"Yeah, but I'll just get detention and you'll possibly damage the delicate father-son bond." Blair shook his head. "You don't have to do that for me, man."

[psychic_wonder]

That got an honest laugh out of Sam. "We don't have a delicate father-son bond. If you were talking about my dad and Dean? Maybe." He smirked at Blair. "Just give it some thought, if the need arises."

"That's too bad, man." Blair said. "Maybe you need to do some bonding exercises. I read about a really great one that involves a sweat room and chanting."

"Believe me, man. If things go as badly this week...I'll throw your name in there." Blair looked up and pointed at his cast. "Do you want to sign my cast?"

"Bonding exercises?" Sam asked, managing to not sound too incredulous. "I'll have to look into that, thanks."

"And sure," he said, grabbing a pen from his backpack to sign the cast. "I hope you feel better soon."

"Thanks, man!" Blair smiled. "Have fun in class and let me know if you need more info on bonding!"

"Oh, I will," Sam said, grinning. "Thanks."
