Jamie happened to be walking by and gave Nadia a friendly wave hello. "Hey Santos. How's it going? Other than getting in detention again."

"Other than that? Not bad. Looking for shapes in the clouds." She pointed straight up. "See that really big one right there? That one is shaped like the sky."

Jamie gave a puzzled look at the cloud and shrugged. "Hey. That one over there looks like a shrimp! So what did you do to end up in detention?"

"No idea. Probably just one of those 'the teachers got bored, so they pulled some names out of a hat' things."

"That sucks. You get the punishment of detention without the fun of getting in trouble!"

"Well, I always figure it means they owe me one day of wacky recklessness per random detention."

"Does it really work that way? Because if so there's some fun to be had there."

[nadiathesaint]

"Probably not? But if I don't get caught, then I just get to have fun. And really, the thrill of getting away with something is the best part."

"Oh so true. I heard that Wally made it back. How're you two doing?"

Nadia blinked. "You mean Walter? We're fine, why wouldn't we be?"

Jamie shrugged. "No reason. Just heard something on the radio about you and Cally. I didn't take it seriously but I thought I'd just ask."

"Cally . . . is going through a tough time and latching onto people who are being nice to her, I think." Nadia shrugged. "I explained it to Walter, and he understands."

"Yeah, I know Cally's having a tough time. I hope it works out for her," Jamie said with a nod. "How are your workshops so far?"

"Pretty good. I think the one I have on Fridays might end up being my favorite. You?"

"Well I'm certainly missing Artie's class but the one's I'm taking now are pretty good. Yesterday I got to act out a scene with Alanna which was fun. I'm not sure if I can continue to work with her because she seems to be very against sock puppets."
