Peter hadn't been able to sleep before the game though World Cup nerves weren't what were keeping him awake. In any case, he'd put the time to good use by getting doughnuts, pasties, and orange juice and putting them out on the Common Room table.

Conner scratched his ear. "Well, on one hand," he mused, "after playing that many minutes? I get why it comes down to that. Everybody's pretty much wiped. But when you're watching the game, it's just not that exciting. And yeah, pretty fake."

He shook a finger at the TV. "That's it. No more shootouts for the rest of the tournament. I demand this."
