Seeing as he'd spent the entire day doing nothing productive, Alphonse dragged himself out of his room and decided to continue being unproductive in the common room.

He's got the television on, but isn't paying much attention to it.

Tyler wandered into the common room on his floor, reading a basketball strategy book. "People. Hey."

Walter looked up and nodded. "Hey, Tyler."

"Hi Walter," Tyler said.

He glanced around the common room. "No Nadia yet, huh?"

[walter_n_wires]

"Not yet. I'm going to do some surgery on that locker tomorrow if it doesn't let her out soon."

[tyler_gone]

"I would totally support that. Bring a blowtorch."

[walter_n_wires]

"I don't need one," Walter said, letting strands drop from his rings before twitching his fingers to draw them back up. "I'm not supposed to misuse them here, but I think rescuing Nadia wouldn't count as misuse."

"Definitely not," Tyler said, watching the wires dangle and retreat. "How do those work?"

[walter_n_wires]

"Monofilament wires," Walter said, looking down at his fingers. "They'll cut through almost anything including buildings. It's a combination of the wire itself, and the speed at which I use them that does it."

[tyler_gone]

Tyler looked intrigued. "I'm thinking a crowded common room is not the place to ask you to demonstrate," he said. "Also that I bet some people who have tried to fight you have been very sorry."

Walter's grin was very toothy. "Oh yes."

He shrugged. "The junkyard is a good place for cutting things up if you want to come along someday for a demonstration."

Tyler smiled. "I would be most interested. Do you have plans Sunday afternoon?"

[walter_n_wires]

"I think I do now. I can always use the practice, even if cutting things up is the easy part."

[tyler_gone]

Tyler smiled, feral. "Verrrrry nice. Meet you at the junkyard?"

[OOC: I'm on EST and will be doing the usual errandy stuff, should be around pretty consistently after 3 or so.]

[walter_n_wires]

"Brilliant. I have a feeling I'll need to work off some aggression on Sunday anyway."

[ooc: I'm on PST. I'll set up a junkyard post Sunday noonish my time and you can join in when you have a chance.]

"Hopefully not too much," Tyler said. "See you then."

"Until Sunday," Walter said, wandering off to talk to Conner.
