Fourth Floor Common Room - Friday evening

Jun 16, 2006 20:27

After the week he'd had, Dean decided he didn't want to do anything that Friday night, but veg out in front of the tv and not think too hard about anything.

Hence, here he was, camped out in the fourth floor common room, flipping channels and looking for the most brainless show he could find.

[OOC: omg open!]

Buffy had changed into pjs (totally needed sleep before big game, omg!), but now she was bored, and decided it was time to catch up on tv-shows in this decade. So she followed the sounds of tv, found Dean and dropped down in the couch. "Hiyah. Anything good on?"

Dawn waved.

Buffy waved back. "Hi, almost sister! You gonna come watch the game tomorrow?" She looked hopeful, like Dawn's answer would matter quite a lot to her. It was safe to say that Buffy was past the 'freaked the hell out' stage. Of course, she still didn't know about the glowy green ball part...

"I can!" Dawn grinned. "It'll be the first time in three weeks that I haven't been stuck in detention, so I can definitely watch you in action."

Buffy beamed. "Yay! It'll be awesome even if I have to kill all to make it so!" She paused and blinked. "You've been in detention more than me? That can't possibly be normal."

Dawn cleared her throat, deciding Buffy would definitely find out about the shoplifting no sooner than necessary. "First week was because of the prank war, second was for behavior unbecoming a ninja trainee."

She decided that Buffy never, ever needed to find out about the corset.

"Huh." Buffy looked thoughtful. "I haven't had one yet. I should tell mom. She'll be so proud."

She talked to Dean briefly and ended up in possession of the tv-remote.

"Except for the part where she doesn't know I exist, yes, I'm sure she'll be very proud," Dawn confirmed, then saw Buffy with the remote. "Oh god. What are you going to make us watch?"

Buffy grinned widely. And channel surfed, landing on a Buddies episode. "I love Rachel, she's so cool!"

Dawn snorted and tossed some popcorn at Buffy. "You just like her hair."

"So? The hair is awesome," Buffy pointed out, grabbing the popcorns and poping them into her mouth. She blinked. "Chocolatey?"

"Milk Duds," she confirmed. "They get all melty."

"Not that I can find," Dean said, still flipping channels, pausing on one. "Huh. Wanna watch Knockerghost?"

Buffy shook her head, shifting to get more comfortable. "I want to watch, like, one of the new shows or something. If one is on, because I haven't seen any. I feel totally uncultured."

Dean shrugged. "From what I've seen, it's pretty much the same basic stuff as is on in the nineties. Hell, some of it is literally the same stuff." He passed her the remote. "But here, knock yourself out. As long as it's not something that requires me to actually think to watch it, I'm good."

"Unless the tv-shows have changed a lot over the years, I think I can safely promise that," Buffy grinned. She held on to the remote like she was expecting it to be snagged away from her at any second.

"You dumb mug, get your mitts off the marbles before I stuff that mud-pipe down your mush--and tell your moll to hand over the mazuma."

"Bah. Dixon Hill."

Hey, just so you know: it's *not* that common, it *doesn't* "happen to every guy, " and it *is* a big deal!

Buffy brightened. "Buddies!"
