Pangolin Campfire [Tuesday Night]

Bridge is sitting by the Pangolin campfire, the box of doughnuts he'd earned from this afternoon's workshop with Xander open nearby. He's not doing much of anything, just occasionally poking at the fire with a stick.

Anyone was welcome to come hang out and have a doughnut, if they wanted.

Parker finally climbed out of her hammock after talking to Jarod for a while, and took a seat by Bridge, bumping his shoulder companiably. "Hey. Any chocolate with sprinkles left?"

"Hey!" Bridge says with a grin, peering in to the box of doughnuts. "You're in luck. One left!"

"Yay! Mine, please." She took it and broke it two, noshing on one half, then offering a bite to Bridge. "So. What's new in the world of Cadet Carson? I heard there was adventuring that I missed out on again."

"Yup!" Bridge nods, taking the offered doughnut. "We found waterslides on the sixth floor."

"Damn! No fair!" Parker shook her head and munched on the pastry. "What are the doughnuts for, anyway? Not that I'm objecting."

[bridge_carson]

Bridge grins. "Xander's workshop today. Was all about the importance of doughnuts to a team. Rory tried to steal mine, but we ended up just doing a trade instead."

Parker snickered. "Well, I'm glad the doughnuts were saved, then. How's that going? I know Xander was nervous he'd have nothing to say."

"It was great!" Bridge bounces. "I mean, okay, yeah, I know I'm biased? But it went really well."

Parker grinned. "Coooool. People had a good time? That's always important." She looked amused, and poked at the fire some more. "Archery class was a handout and a cookie. But I think what it really was, was Miho figuring out who she's going to kill first."

[bridge_carson]

"Did anyone ask her if she was a space ninja?" Bridge asks innocently.

"Damn." Parker snapped her fingers. "I knew I forgot something. Must get a newbie to risk their life that way next week."

[bridge_carson]

"You'll have to let me know what the answer is," Bridge grins. "If she gives one."

[mparkerceo]

"Surely. Hey, is Willow still giving you a hard time, or has she lightened up?"

[bridge_carson]

"What?" Bridge blinks. "Oh! That! That was... a misunderstanding. There will be no dissection of me. I kind of jumped to conclusions because of," he waves vaguely, "stuff, from home. But... I fixed her computer and she met RIC and things are good."

Parker relaxed, relieved. "Glad to hear it. And-- stuff from home?" She frowned. "Did I know about this?"

Bridge shrugs. "People are... not too fond of humans with powers, is all."
