Gym, early Saturday

It was very early on Saturday morning, so hopefully there wouldn't be anybody else around in the gym. She needed to work out some frustration, preferably without being recognized by more people she had never seen before in her life

Feeling the need to release a some tension, Max walked in the to gym and tossed her bag down on the bench.

And the morning just kept getting better as far as Dean was concerned as another pretty brunette came in.

"Hi," he greeted the newcomer.

"Hey," Max replied, as she walked over to the mats and started her warm up.

"You another new one? Or just one of the older students I haven't run into yet?"

"No, I just got here, too."

[saltandammo]

"Me too. Dean," he said, gesturing at himself.

"Max," she said, giving him a smile. "You spar, Dean? Been awhile and the ride here was long."

"I've been known to go a round or two," Dean said with a grin. "I'd be happy to oblige."

"Only a round or two?" she teased, taking a pair of light gloves out of her bag. "I'll go easy on you."

"Thanks," Dean said, wondering if that was something he would be grateful for. Anywhere else, he wouldn't think so, and might be even a little worried about hurting an opponent so much smaller and lighter than him, but considering what hidden skills some of the people have here, he wasn't going to take anything for granted. "You're not an alien or anything are you?"

Max froze briefly, but covered it quickly with a grin. "Do I look like an alien to you?" she asked.

Against his better judgement, Dean's eyes wandered over her form. "If you're alien, I think I want to move to your planet," he said, heartfelt.

Joxer wasn't being too regular about his exercises, since he didn't have his dad or Jett breathing down his neck, but he still felt the need to keep in shape.

"Oh, uh, hi Max," he said. He gave a little nervous wave.

"Hey Jox," Max said, looking up from her workout.

"I'd like you to know that I totally haven't been avoiding you," Joxer said. "Not at all. Just been busy, that's it. Busy not avoiding."

Max shrugged and said, "Didn't think you were. Everyone's got their own business, you know?"
