Walter had made it all the way to the door to the stairwell, keeping his eyes downcast to avoid the rather obvious matter of "hello, red eyes."
Where can I find sunglasses?
There's a shop in town. Just don't hurt anyone.
Maia had just left Pippi and was walking somewhat distractedly, turning the corner she hit something soft. "Oh God Sor-" She froze and looked up at Walter. "W-Walter?" She said stepping back "You- You're tall... your hair...um are you taking pictures to?" Maia said with caution as she took in his clothes as well, something was seriously wrong here. Maia was a bit on the tall end for girls her age but Walter being taller then her...No growth spurts like that do not literally happen over night.
Who's this?
... Wanda.
Lying to yourself?
You aren't me!
Still at it, boy?
Walter smiled tightly at her, keeping his eyes down. "I'm trying something new today."
How well do you know her?
Just be rude to her and keep going.
Maia frowned a little, "It's um...it's different." Maia said taking in his appearance. "Walter have you seen Pippi?" Maia stepped back from him, he was creeping her out a little now after seeing Pippi acting just as strange.
"No. I haven't seen anyone yet this morning except you."
Don't push it! Just go.
"It's time for me to have some breakfast."
Don't even think about it.
Maia glanced up and down the hallway. "I...well the cafeteria is closed." Maia said casually "Are you going to go into town before you get the pictures?" Maia tried to keep him talking waiting for someone to walk up and maybe do something. It wasn't right, the way he was acting. He was the one she was going to call about Pippi...now what?
Tell her you're going to Jeff's.
Who's Jeff?
The God of Biscuits, just tell her.
"I'm going to Jeff's first." Not that he had any clue what pictures she was talking about, nor did he care. "I need to go."
"Oh ok." Maia said with a nod, that at least sounded normal. "Are you ok Walter? You seem a bit off today." Maia said bitting her lip. "Do you need me to come with you?"
Walter slipped past her, heading for the door. "I'm not feeling myself today, but I'll be fine."
Maia nodded and watched him go. "Ok." She didn't try to approach him again. So Walter down, Pippi down...I think it's time to call Pip... Maia hurried down the hallway to reach her dormroom.
