Elizabeth made herself comfortable, a pile of prom tickets besides her, and settled down for a long day.

"That is what I'm here for," Elizabeth said, holding up a ticket. "$25, please. Oh, and happy birthday for last week, by the way!"

Isabel pulled the money from her bag and paid. "Here you go. And thanks. Did you make it to the party Monday night? It was insane how crowded it was."

"Thank you," Elizabeth said, adding the money to a lock box. "I looked in, but yeah, insanely crowded. Janet and I ended up eating far too much reduced Easter candy instead!"

"Then you must have had just as much fun," Isabel said, tucking the ticket safely away. "Bonding over chocolate is always a good time. Now I'd better go clean house get lunch before Western Civ. I'll see you later."

Elizabeth grinned and nodded. "Definitely," she said. She picked up her coffee again. "See you later!"

Veronica was heading out for a *handwavy* lunch at Luke's when she spotted Elizabeth selling prom tickets.

And she figured since she was the one that had asked Archie, she should probably buy the tickets.

"Hey, Elizabeth," she greeted. "Can I get two tickets?"

Selling tickets was one way to get gossip in the school.

Veronica got the money out of her wallet and handed it to Elizabeth. "Um, Archie Kennedy," she said.

Elizabeth took the money and handed Veronica her tickets in return. "Cool. I'm sure you'll have a good time with him," she said
