2nd floor common room, evening

Sunday evening boredom. Cameron's in the common room bouncing a tennisball against the wall. It's more interesting than homework and other things. There might be some chocolate cake still about if you get there on time.

Also, there's definitely no Spice Girls music.

After handwavingly retrieving Logan from Angel, Veronica decided to see if anyone was in the common room. She was a little calmer than she had been earlier in the day, but she figured the less time she spent alone with Logan, the better.

"Hey," she greeted Cam as she flopped down in a chair, settling Logan on her lap.

[cameronmitchell]

Cameron caught the tennisball and looked over at Veronica and the bunny. "Yo, Veronica and portable boyfriend."

Veronica chuckled. "Yeah, he's pretty much at my mercy," she said. "Good think I'm not cruel and vindictive, huh?"

Logan twitched his right ear.

[cameronmitchell]

"For Logan, yeah." Cameron agreed and tilted his head. "I'm kind of glad I got to be something more mobile than a bunny when I got turned fuzzy."

Molly walked into the room and flopped down on a couch.

"Hullo," she said with a bored sigh.

[cameronmitchell]

"Yo! Catch," Cameron said as he tossed the ball at Molly.

Completely unprepared, Molly 'eeped' and covered her head. The ball went over her head and behind the couch. She pulled her hand down and looked at Cam. "Sorry."

[cameronmitchell]

"Constant vigilance! It's okay, sorry." He tilted his head to try to see behind the couch. "Uh, I'm not getting up."

Kurt wandered through the common room, a tall cup of coffee steaming in one hand. He smiled as he sat down with a book in his lap, and half read while watching the room.

Veronica spotted the librarian and waved. "Hey," she said with a smile. "How are you settling in?"

Kurt looked up at the pretty blonde girl.

"Ah, Veronica!" He nodded. "The girl with the wamphyri friend. I've settled in nicely, danke."

"Other than a cold, and having to leave town briefly, it's been a good few weeks."

"That's good to hear," Veronica said with a smile. "I never got to thank you for talking to me that night. It really helped."

[pyramid_is_life]

Kara strolls into the common room. There are still faint trances of red paint to be found in her hair from Friday's Studio Art class.

"Yo, Kara!" Cameron waved at her and wondered what ws going on with her hair. "How's it going?"

"It goes. What's up with you, Cam?" asks Kara as she pops off the cap of a root beer.

[cameronmitchell]

"Eh, too much work and no play yadda yadda yadda," Cameron waves his hand. "I don't suppose you brought any to share?" He asks, motioning to the bottle.

Having gotten over the whole microwave incident--and still not peeping, thank the gods--Sharon randomly wandered into the common room. Boredom seemed a common theme. She grabbed a slice of cake and flopped into a seat.

"Sharon," Cameron said. "Long time no see."

[sharon_valerii]

"Hey, Cameron." Smiling, she shrugged, "I've been, ah, busy?" She took a forkful of cake and ate it.

"Yeah, it goes around." Cameron nodded.
