Jessica was leaving her room on her way out for a little stroll when she eyed "Angel" just down the hall leaving his room. She quickly locked her door, put her key in her purse and walked up to Angel with a big smile and a big wave. "Hi there! It feels like I haven't seen you in forever. It is of course good to see you know though," says Jessica with an even bigger smile. "How are you doing dear??"
Jessica's smile was quickly replaced with a most concerned expression. "Ohh my. Poor dear...I hope its nothing too serious. Anything I can do to help?" asks Jessica, her hands overlapped over her chest.
Bel caught himself staring at Jessica's neck and shook his head to clear it of the thought of biting her there. "Ever had the feeling you were living someone else's life?" he said, half-jokingly. "That's how my day has been."
Jessica had felt that way ever since that rare strand of virus had changed her life forever. She nodded back in a sympathetic, understanding way. "I suppose so...maybe." Jessica sighed softly then looked back up at Angel and gave a smile. "Maybe...maybe I could offer you some tea? Or...or we could take a walk? You never know...might take your mind off of things, cheer you up?"
"Thanks, but...." Bel shrugged helplessly. "Can't really go outside for a walk." Can't go out, can't shimmer, can't conjure fire...being a vampire really sucked.
Jessica cocked her head and her eyes narrowed as she thought for a moment. When she had opened her window this morning it wasn't raining or anything, the weather seemed pleasant enough she thought. "Ohhh...alright then. Some other time maybe?" Jessica forced a smile, but deep down felt that she was being pushed aside.
Her reaction surprised him. Then again, she was one of the new students at the school, so maybe she didn't know what she was asking. "Hasn't anyone told you...what I am?" he asked curiously.
Jessica gave a little laugh and smiled. Patting Angel on the shoulder she answered "What you are is a kind and caring individual...you're pleasant and considerate and, well, if I may say so, a wonderful dresser dear. In short...you're a good person Angel. And I don't need anyone to tell me that, silly." Jessica gave another little laugh as she blushed just the slightest bit. Jessica regained her composure and continued. "So... were you on your way somewhere? Am I keeping you?"
"Good person, right," Bel said bitterly. He shook his head and sighed. "I'm trying to find my girlfriend," he said. That much was true at least, it just wasn't Callisto he wanted, it was Phoebe.
"Oh..." Jessica sighed and looked at the floor. "I didn't know you had...I mean you never said that you had a...You see I guess I just assumed you..." Jessica was silent for moment, unsure of what to say. "I think I should be going now. I'm sorry." Jessica covered her face with her hands, turned around, and began to walk down the hall.
