The blackboards remained in place from last week. Charlie looked around in satisfaction. He'd brought a thermos of coffee, and was honestly intending to break for brunch at some point. Really.

mainly for Chloe, Broots and CJ. And the locker, of course.

On her way to her office yeah, it might be the long way she sees Charlie and his chalkboard. Smiling, and absolutely not shaking her head at his effots, she walks right up to him.

"How's it coming, Charlie?"

Charlie turned his head and smiled to her. "It's going really well! I'm hoping to get the interior measurements today!"

"Interior measurements? You mean like..open it? Isn't that kind of, um, risky?" She looks at his work just long enough to realize she'd have better luck with the Plato in the original Greek.

"Oh, I'll take precautions, of course." He rummaged around behind a blackboard and pulled out a rope.

"A rope?" She moves around, closer to the locker, because it locked still...right?...and gawks at him. "You think a rope is going to be enough?"

She turns and looks at the locker, "Well, it seems kind of random...arbitrary. No one has had the same thing happen. I just wonder if a rope would do any good."

She turns back to him with a sly grin, "Do you have a mathy reason it might?"

Ten jogs up just as Broots leaves. "Sorry about that, love, had to get something from my office...Oh. Hello, Charlie."

"There you are. Charlie's going to measure the inside today." She gives him a skeptical look, then her eyes dart to the rope in Charlie's hand.

He follows her gaze to the rope. "With a ROPE? Don't you have one of those nifty little laser things, at least? More accurate."

"Yeah, Charlie, I mean...what do you think you can really find with that? I'm sure Gil and Sara probably have all kinds of neat tools to borrow." She's just joking with him, and she smirks as she crosses her arms in front of herself and stands there with her back to the locker.

Charlie rolled his eyes at them. "To tie me to the blackboards, silly, so I don't get sucked in when I'm measuring!"
