Bridge has the feeling he's missed something big today.

The second floor seemed unusually quiet.

So he was once again in the common room... this time, with a deck of cards. Playing solitare.

Hey, at least this time he picked a game that's *meant* to be one-player ;)

3rd floor common room, rory gilmore, cameron mitchell, yuffie kisagari, clark kent, m parker, lana lang, alex krycek, vala mal doran, molly hayes, bridge carson, zero hopeless-savage, charlie kawalsky

Yuffie was bored. She was unpacked, and had decorated (Yay colors!) and her roomie seemed to have vanished for the evening.

So she found herself in the 2nd floor common room again, grinning when she saw someone she knew. "Hey! Bridge, right?"

"Ninja-Girl-Yuffie!" Bridge said cheerfully. "What's up?"

"The ceiling's up. Duh." Yuffie took a seat, waving to the guy she didn't know. "Hey ya! I'm Yuffie, nice to meet you. What you guys playing?" She leaned over to look at their cards.

Clark looks up from his hand of entirely too un-fishy cards and grins. "Go Fish. I...think. I'm Clark -- what's your name?"

"Gawd, you got wax in your ears or something? I just *said* I was Yuffie." She rolled her eyes in a good natured sort of way. "Oh, is it too late for me to join in?"

Clark stammers. "I...I do not think I do!" He makes a mental note to check in the shower though, just in case. Being from Smallville, one cannot take a comment like that lightly, lest one wakes up with aromatherapy candles growing out of every orifice.

"Sure you can join in! Uh...if it is okay with Bridge, anyway!" Clark deals Yuffie cards.

Yuffie grined and took her cards. Yay, something to do! She held them close to her chest- noone was going to be peeking at HER cards.

Bridge sighs woefully and hands the Queen of Spades over to Clark. "I don't remember if he gets another turn now or if it's someone else's turn..."

Clark takes the Queen of Spades and frowns, considering. "I think it's Yuffie's turn now. Unless you want me to go again! I'll go again." He looks at the two Queens and tilts his head. "Do I need four of the same card, or just a pair?"

"Oh good!" Clark puts down the Queens. "Is it Yuffie's turn now then?"

"Ummm...any of you got an ace of hearts?" Yuffie looked at both of them, as if tring to stare through the cards to double check they weren't lying.

Clark tilts his head at his cards. "I have an ace of...this thingy!" He shows her a club.

"I think that's a club, Clark." Yuffies voice was a bit deadpan. She liked Clark, but he didn't seem to be the sharpest ninja star in the armory, if you caught her drift.

"Oh. Do those not count?" He looks at his not-quite-pair of queens, and thinks that perhaps he and Bridge were not playing this game correctly. "Er...go fish, then."
