Frank walked into the common room, clearly looking for something.
"You haven't happened to see a bottle of whiskey, have you?" Frank checked while he looked under the table. He rose to a knee and mimed with his hands, "About yay tall, looks eager to be poured into a glass?"
Frank looked thoughtful for a moment. "I can't say for sure, but I may have. It certainly sounds like something I would have done sooner than later, and the only thing sooner than right now than the recent past."
"Ah. Not from around here," Frank said, vaguely remembering. "They're young boys who tie knots for badges. Probably do other things as well. Big fans of preparation."
"Oh, no, the flask is my own innovation. I'm pretty sure they just carry pocket knives," Frank suggested. It was possible that Frank was painting a much more sinister picture of the Boy Scouts than was wholly deserved.
Although on his world, they probably were terribly sinister, so he wouldn't feel that bad about it.
