Edward was restless.
When Edward was restless, he sometimes did things that some may think of as stupid.
Frankly, he didn't believe that attempting to climb up to the roof from his room was particularly so; rather, it was a decent stretch of a man's natural capabilities, good for the muscles, and likely to burn off whatever affliction had settled in his bones. He had not necessarily made it as far as he'd hoped, having gotten stranded in a room on the sixth floor after nearly slipping and falling into a stack of hay-- in fact, he had had to cover the rest of the ground the usual way, by taking the stairs up.
But now he was on the rooftop, sitting idly near the edge.
It was a beautiful view.
In fact, a wonderous view, because of the fashion it was now drawing his attention. Much, much preferable to anything else at the moment. Yes.
