It was far too nice a day for linear algebra homework. At least, it was far too nice a day to be doing linear algebra inside, which was why Kathy had moved out to the deck, where she could enjoy the fresh air and hot sunshine directly, rather than through a window while she studied. She'd been hoping that the outdoors would help improve her focus, but even out here she found herself paying more attention to birds and the drunken antics of the squirrels than she was the problem sets she needed to complete before Monday.
Ah well, if nothing else, she could always tell Raven that she was improving on her daydreaming skills? Except she was pretty sure her roommate wouldn't approve if she worded it like that.
Sigh. And people thought linear algebra was confusing.
