"It would be karking wrong to shoot the karking bouncy castles, right?" Cade demanded, stomping up to the fire.

"And I'm supposed to care about that?"

Ah, yes, there came the reason Envy had maybe once or twice told annoying upstart producers to mind their own karking business. That word just stuck with you, you know?

And it made for priceless looks from people.

She looked half amused. "Yes, if you don't want to pay for damaging the property of a school you haven't gone to in two decades."

"Since I guess I'm old to be sent to detention," Cade agreed, flopping onto the ground. "Don't suppose there's any kaf around here?"

"Haven't looked." Wasn't Envy's priority. "Town delivers, though, I'm sure."

And even if they normally didn't, she had enough money to change that. And make it snappy.

"Isn't town far?" Cade asked, sighing.

"Most likely."

"We should find them," Cade decided. "I need more minions in my life. New goal: find some."

"Good old reliable Cade," Jessica said. "I knew I could count on you to be in a worse mood than me about the stupid castles."

"Hey, Jess," Cade said, smiling back a little. "You know me: I karking love to be reliable."

"I remember that being your yearbook quote," Jessica said. "It was right under 'Least Likely to War Sleeves.'"

"So, so true," Cade replied, laughing. "Echuta, I haven't remotely missed this place. Wonder how many relatives I'll see this time."

"Most of them, probably," Jessica mused. "Maybe even grandkids and great grandkids by now."

"Probably all karking named Anakin," Cade groused.
